Candy

The CANDY series evokes the childlike sensibility of the artist and his fond memories of enjoying the simple gift of a piece of candy. The series allows Miller to express his delight in the vast array of colors, shapes, designs, and flavors of candy to become artforms of bold colors, fantastic shapes and recognizable elements. From pop rocks to dots to swirling lollipops, these shapes and colors reveal the collective memories of childhood we all share as well as its repressed desires in consuming it.
