What is power? Miller\u2019s POWER Series demonstrates the way in which the artist sees everyday objects in our world as shapes, colors, lines, and forms. Here, the artist has purposely decided to depict ordinary electrical boxes using brilliant luminous colors in direct contrast to their real-life gray metal. This contrast makes us wonder as to their meaning. Do the boxes supply power to bestow light in the dark or power as a mechanism to impart chaos and destruction in times of power outages and technology wars?<\/span><\/p>\n

Three 3D artworks in the POWER series incorporate authentic power meter covers mounted on painted black and white diagonal striped wooden boards. Each meter cover is filled with recycled tape, used paint tubes and painted wood pieces.
