We Fall Down
We Fall Down is a painting that I created ironically because of mankind’s desire to stand. Falling and failure is a part of life and success. Mistakes will be made by every imperfect human being, the lesson learned comes from not making the same mistake over and over again. The key to falling down is getting back up! The wisdom in failure is making sure that you learn from the failure and try not to repeat the same failures.
In this abstract failure I wanted to use a figure that was not labeled by race, gender or age. The energy from the colors are of hope. As we fall down, we can get back up! This premise is not limited by physical features. Though there may be consequences for our short comings, no matter how or why you fall, if you are alive, you can stand again!
